We might fancy that our enemies live outside us. That we have nothing to do with them. And that they have nothing to do with us.
However, we might actually find, in our very quiet and still moments, that our enemies actually reside within us. Their thoughts, their feelings, and even their pain and trauma – they live within us. We can feel them within us.
Our enemies are not separate from us, at the fundamental level.
